Tall and tan and young and lovely...
If only I had been born Brazilian. I know that it is not healthy to compare, but when it comes to Brazilian women, how can you not? The accent, the tan, the hair, the laissez-fare attitude, the, ahem, other assets...
Think of all of the world's top models and you will find that many hail from the tropical country of Brazil ( ever heard of Gisele?) Even if you don't look like a supermodel, there are at least a few products that can get you looking linda marviloso in not time!
If you are naturally a more fair or medium skin tone as myself, you know that going outside in the sizzling sun to get a deep Brazilian tan sans the sun damage is nearly impossible. Getting a sexy dark tan in the a/c is possible though, thanks to Tan-Luxe's Illuminating Self-Tan drops. Everyone at HSN is going nuts for Tan-Luxe because you can control how deep you want your tan to be, just by adding in a couple of drops of magic (i.e. concentrated self-tanning serum). I'll happily say farewell to my Scotch-Irish freckles and hello to my new faux Brazilian tan!
Haircare is a very sacred ritual in Brazil, passed on from generation to generation. One of Brazilians' most hallowed products for hair is Buriti Oil. Buriti Oil is great for the health of the scalp, yet also provides nourishment for strength and shine. Best of all, it is lightweight and help's your hair's appearance in humid weather!
The Other Assets:
Just read the reviews on Sol de Janeiro's Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (pronounced boom-boom) and you will want a jar. Women are going nuts for this body cream which contains guarana extract, a fruit native to the Amazon which contains five times the amount of caffeine as coffee, so it helps keep your bum bum high and tight! Personally, I didn't notice too much of a tightening affect, but a slight shimmer helped cover my spider veins ( hello motherhood!) and the scent is good enough to take a bite out of!
I feel like I've barely cracked the surface of Brazilian beauty secrets. Do you have any? Leave a comment below and join me in the challenge to get this damn song out of my head!
